Little Fur is a gentle soul, a healer of small creatures, who inhabits a small wilderness in the middle of an old city. The wilderness is protected by seven ancient singing trees that have tapped into magic which makes people unable to focus on the actuality of the place. Little Fur is the child of an elf and a troll. She is in touch with earth magic and can't ever be disconnected from the ground or risk losing her abilities. This is a challenge when she sets out to cross the city to find protective magic after news reaches her of humans burning trees. She is helped by Crow and two cats, Ginger and Sly. One of the cats is tricky and might not be a friend. As well there are other dangers
