Description

Bing Bunny is a lovable, feisty pre-school character, created by Blue Peter award-winning illustrator, Ted Dewan. Bing takes on pre-school challenges such as getting dressed, eating breakfast and going to the park, in his own inimitable style. He is a totally modern pre-schooler and, in Ted Dewan's exciting new computer-generated artwork, has a freshness and friendliness that is both appealing and different from anything else on the market. Bing Swing is a celebration of the thrills (and spills) of the swing! Bing learns the hard lesson of taking turns with his friend, Flop, and also learns a lesson in physics - what goes up, must come down-Don't worry, Bing,It's no big thing-It's a Bing Thing!

He won the coveted Mother Goose Award for his first children's picture book in 1992, Inside the Whale. Subsequent picture books include The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Top Secret. He lives in Oxford with his wife, artist and Kate Greenaway Medal-winner, Helen Cooper, and their daughter. Award News: CRISPIN, THE PIG WHO HAD IT ALL has been shortlisted for The Kate Greenaway Medal - one of the most prestigious awards for children's illustration. The judging panel have this to say about the book: "The bold, exuberant illustrations catch the reader's eye first, and then closer examination shows just how every page is crammed with extraordinary detail. Dewan's clever use of layout, colour and perspective emphasise the different moods of the story creating a sense of space, action or surprise. This story contrasts the emptiness of materialism with the warmth of friendship as it follows Crispin's heartwarming journey to understanding."
